Anita Barone

Barone appeared as Gail Cunningham, a chef in Seinfeld's show The Shoes from the fourth season. Barone was looking for Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was a cast member on Carol & Company, starring alongside Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone performed the role of Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife on the show's first Friends appearance. She left the show as she decided to take on the role full-time. was substituted by Jane Sibbett. She was on The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the initial season (1995-1996) as well as on The War at Home from 2005 until 2007. In 2000, Barone also co-starred in the sitcom Daddio. Other television credits for Barone include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded her Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award 2004 in recognition of her work in the feature film One Last Ride. Barone was cast as the mother of Bella Thorne's CeCe Jones in 2010 three years after the conclusion in The War at Home. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones his former husband of Barone's character, on two of the episodes.
